I'm a freelance computer programmer, geek and activist living in Upstate New York. I've always loved computers, and I began learning to program independently when I was 12. I quickly discovered my passion for computing, which I continue to explore today by testing new technologies and refining my talents with each new project. That freedom and variety is one of the main reasons I freelance; Meeting new and interesting clients, and being able to contribute to a host of innovative companies are pleasures it would be hard to tear me from for any other career.

Besides my professional life, I like to stay active and learn new things. I practice Jiu Jitsu and Fence, in addition to my involvement in organizations such as Big Brothers, Big Sisters, and local art, humanist and volunteering groups. I'm currently pursuing a 5-year goal of serving in the Peace Corps while getting medical training for later involvement in Doctors Without Borders. To do this, I'm finishing a B.S. in Engineering from F.M. while building my business here in Amsterdam. In the rest of my spare time, I enjoy hiking, exploring local restaurants and spending time with my family and wonderful girlfriend. Below, you'll find links to sites I'm active on, as well as more information on my interests and hobbies.
